Marathon for Medical Detection Dogs

25th May, 2019

Inspired by a pupil in the school with life-threatening allergies, Class 9 pupils Cenk, Saul, Harpreet and Noah completed the 5k run at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on Saturday, raising £320 for Medical Detection Dogs. The whole of Class 9 will continue raising money for this charity with a sponsored walk up Ben Lomond on June 18th.

“We are raising money for Medical Detection Dogs because we think it’s a good cause, and admire that it is free for people who need it. These trained dogs are unique in that virtually nothing can do their job as fast or consistent as them”.
